Starting the week of 11th of June, I am giving two sessions per week of music, movement and singing for small groups of children aged 4-7. They take place at 7 Gransden Avenue at 4pm Thursdays and Fridays. I combine Steiner methodology, my own musical enthusiasms, insights and techniques of the work of Émile Jaques-Dalcroze. I hope the classes will inspire a love of music as an art and a grounding within it as a discipline. Each child will learn to listen and move to piano and voice, and I will only use natural sound. The children will all have a chance to play the piano in each session, in a structured yet unpressured approach. One of Steiner's prominent ideas was for educators to "remove the barriers" to learning and let each young person's natural curiosity be unfettered.  These classes will use movement, dancing, singing and playing as the precursors to the academic learning of music.

Please contact me for further details and any questions regarding the classes. Each class will be 45 minutes.
